The Iron Butterfly - Chanda Hahn

I'm one of those readers to whom editing matters. Bad grammar and punctuation, horrible syntax, run-on sentences, clunky dialogue, and a bunch of words that don't mean what the author thinks they mean: these are all things that rip me straight out of a story and curtail my enjoyment. Some readers can look past it. I can't. Not in such abundance, and especially not in a supposedly professional product. There could be a good story in here, but I haven't got the patience to sift through all the errors to find it.
