Venetia - Georgette Heyer

I feel like I've talked myself out on this one with the buddy read (in a good way - that was fun!) so I don't really feel motivated to write up a full review. I'll just say that I never really warmed up to Venetia, the softest emotion I felt for Damerel was pity, but the witty dialog and character interactions made this fun. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would, but since I thought I'd hate it after the infamous bramble scene, "a lot more" only equals three stars.
