Despite what the cover picture claims, this is The Annihilation of Foreverland by Tony Bertauski. Is that a CSV import issue or a Booklikes database issue? It's after one a.m. and I'm too fried to try to figure out what happened there. Maybe later when my pillow isn't calling me.

Anywho, interesting premise, surprisingly good quality for a self-pub freebie (it was readable, decently-paced, etc.), but it just didn't do much for me. I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it enough to buy the sequel. (Bolded, italicized, and underlined for emphasis because I keep almost buying the sequel every time I see it on sale. My book budget is limited and I don't need to be spending it on sequels to a book that left me feeling ... meh.)
